Private Driving Lessons
Private lessons are tailored to the needs of the student and their goals as a driver. We can start from the very beginning all the way to more advanced skills in traffic as well as all maneuvers required by the DMV for the road exam. Hill starts, turn arounds and parallel parking. Driving is a skill that takes practice and patience. I coach young drivers to make good, safe decisions when driving a car.
Third Party Testing
Not interested in waiting for an appointment at the DMV? I can do a road test for teens in Montpelier, Randolph or Bristol at your convenience. A successful road test earns the junior operator a temporary 90 day license. The new driver must go to a DMV office for their permanent card. This also is the beginning of the GDL waiting periods.
About Us
Parsons Driving School provides comprehensive driving instruction to teenagers, adults, college students and farm workers in Addison, Washington, Chittenden and Orange Counties. We use a 2016 Subaru Outback Limited 3.6R as our primary vehicle for instruction.
I've been a teacher for thirty years with a diverse background in English, Social Studies, Technical Theater, Outdoor Education and Driver's Education. I also teach Outdoor Emergency Care for the National Ski Patrol.
